What a treat; all this rough talent on just one clip. Prince Buster and Suggs on vocals, Georgie Fame and Jools on the ivories, Rico Rodriguez on slide-trombone, etc etc. Here they are playing a two-tune-combo; 'Madness' and 'Enjoy Yourself'.We go to see Jools Holland's R & B big band as often as we can. 'Enjoy Yourself' is always played as the finale, and it brings the house down. Go on, enjoy YOURSELF and sing along!
N.B. Only Jamaicans can invent 'Gladness' to rhyme with 'Madness'. It's summer and who cares!
I definitely think this style of music is more popular in the UK. It's more of an alternative genre here in the US for some reason. I don't know. It's really cool though!
