When we went to fetch Monty, we had already decided which Pup we wanted, but suddenly they all looked the same. I'm not sure if we came back with our original choice or not. They were all beautiful; just like the above.
The wind has dropped here this morning so it is not so fearsomely cold as yesterday. And along with it has gone the snow, hail and sleet. It feels almost quite pleasant out there.
All those puppies remind me of the time when our Lab gave birth to seven puppies during a son's 3rd birthday party. Best birthday party entertainment ever. Thanks for sharing the video.

Optimistic Cro!
The difference between an optimist and a pessimist, is that the optimist enjoys himself whilst waiting for the inevitable! I AM that optimist!
This is a daily, optimistic, 'photos and comments' blog. I make no judgements (only occasionally), just notes. If you wish to comment in any way at all, please feel free. Everything and everyone (except the obdurate and dictatorial) is very welcome.
I was born just south of London, but for the past 50 years I've lived in S W France. I am a painter by profession, and writer by desire. Lady Magnon and I live between an ancient cottage in a tiny village in perfectly tranquil French countryside, and a bijou townhouse in Brighton UK. In France we have plenty of fruit trees, all situated amongst a view that takes the breath away, in the UK we have a handkerchief sized patio. We also have a Border Collie called Billy. I try to treat our planet with respect, and encourage others to do likewise (without preaching).
Contentment is a glass of red, a plate of charcuterie, and a slice of good country bread. Perfect!
Too cute. I like the way they are all identified with a different collar. A perfect fit at the end.

ReplyDeleteLabs are lovely dogs.
DeleteIrresistible! Rick has just pricked his ears and turned his head, he can hear them.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what they were all saying? Slight rain here this morning, and a very noticeable dip in temperature. Max of 5 C forecast.

DeleteWet market virus joke warning!
ReplyDeleteI like puppies but I couldn’t eat a whole one.
Wait till they grow-up; hot dogs are fine!

ReplyDeleteThat should have been a birthday he'd never forget, but being only 3 I wonder if he remembers it. 7 pups is a real handful.
DeleteVery sweet. Didn't think they'd all fit in, but gosh, they did

DeleteMrs Tadpole? Did she have a bulbous, shiny black head and a cute little tail?
ReplyDeleteYou obviously know her; yup, that's the one!
DeletePuppies and kittens are guaranteed to lower blood pressure and anxiety. Nice, positive post.
ReplyDeleteToo much gloom about; puppies lift the spirit.
DeleteI didn't believe they would all fit.
