Maybe he's had enough of paparazzi....he has been doing constituency work and working in his local food bank while a certain Mr Johnson has had a Caribbean Christmas....
Now he can treat the media as he would like. He was never electable but I go by a friend who lived in England in the 1990s and early 2000s who met him a couple of times and told me he was a thoroughly nice guy. His policies and presentation for the election were lousy, but I think he is a decent man. How come your blog attracts so many lefties, haha.

the lovely things about where our house is, is that it's a stones throw

Optimistic Cro!
The difference between an optimist and a pessimist, is that the optimist enjoys himself whilst waiting for the inevitable! I AM that optimist!
This is a daily, optimistic, 'photos and comments' blog. I make no judgements (only occasionally), just notes. If you wish to comment in any way at all, please feel free. Everything and everyone (except the obdurate and dictatorial) is very welcome.
I was born just south of London, but for the past 50 years I've lived in S W France. I am a painter by profession, and writer by desire. Lady Magnon and I live between an ancient cottage in a tiny village in perfectly tranquil French countryside, and a bijou townhouse in Brighton UK. In France we have plenty of fruit trees, all situated amongst a view that takes the breath away, in the UK we have a handkerchief sized patio. We also have a Border Collie called Billy. I try to treat our planet with respect, and encourage others to do likewise (without preaching).
Contentment is a glass of red, a plate of charcuterie, and a slice of good country bread. Perfect!

ReplyDeleteJust be grateful that he's going... all his fellow MP's are!

ReplyDeleteThey know I like a good argument!!
DeleteA thoroughly good constituency MP, but never suited for a party leader.
DeleteNaughty, naughty. He really did slam that door in a huff. I could hear it with the sound turned off
ReplyDeleteHe stamps his feet a lot too.
DeleteI was fascinated with the fact that his front door opens outwards, never seen one like that before!
ReplyDeleteI suspect it's an outer door, and the actual 'front door' is inside. I may be wrong.
