Jeremy Corbyn praises Venezuela.
Venezuela's inflation is set to rise to 1,000,000% by the end of this year ("a different and a better way of doing things" according to Corbyn). Venezuela's version of extreme socialism, and the 'allegedly' anti-semitic Chavez, were both held in high regard by the wonderful Jeremy Corbyn.
Beware UK. Elect this clown and exactly the same could (will) happen to you!
Here he is, explaining why Chavez was such a wonderful chap.
Venezuela is the Labour Party's model for the UK. McDonnell has been on a recent fact finding mission with his Trotskist adviser who is being employed by the Labour Party to advise on the UK economy.
Incredible ignorance!! Our PM was great friends with Chavez but I think he finally realised Venezuela was not a good bed companion f he wanted to survive.
They make excuses about it all the time, it was not real socialism is the latest. The Labour Party latest is to overthrow capitalism, straight from the mouth of Corbyn.
I don't think even Mr Corbyn could achieve that. When inflation gets to 10% people will realise that it's a lose lose situation for us all. (Those two comments are independent of each other!).
Never in the history of the Labour party have they left power with less unemployment, or a better economy. I really fear it could be disastrous if they were elected at the next election.
Hitler was a Socialist. The National Socialist Workers Party it was called. And look what happened. Germany, no half of Europe, in ruins and 70 or 80 million dead and the German money not worth the paper it was written on. A wheelbarrow full of banknotes for a loaf of bread. Take heed.
THE BELLS ..... THE BELLS ..........

the lovely things about where our house is, is that it's a stones throw

Optimistic Cro!
The difference between an optimist and a pessimist, is that the optimist enjoys himself whilst waiting for the inevitable! I AM that optimist!
This is a daily, optimistic, 'photos and comments' blog. I make no judgements (only occasionally), just notes. If you wish to comment in any way at all, please feel free. Everything and everyone (except the obdurate and dictatorial) is very welcome.
I was born just south of London, but for the past 50 years I've lived in S W France. I am a painter by profession, and writer by desire. Lady Magnon and I live between an ancient cottage in a tiny village in perfectly tranquil French countryside, and a bijou townhouse in Brighton UK. In France we have plenty of fruit trees, all situated amongst a view that takes the breath away, in the UK we have a handkerchief sized patio. We also have a Border Collie called Billy. I try to treat our planet with respect, and encourage others to do likewise (without preaching).
Contentment is a glass of red, a plate of charcuterie, and a slice of good country bread. Perfect!
Scary times.
ReplyDeleteI think so too. My fingers are now permanently crossed.

ReplyDeleteAnd still people are prepared to vote for them! Unbelievable.

ReplyDeleteWhen I read of the Million % inflation, it sent a warning down my spine; KEEP WELL CLEAR.

ReplyDeleteI don't think Corbyn cares. As long as his Union bosses, and their members, are happy, the rest of the country can go to hell.
DeleteComrade, as a communist, even I think Corbyn is bit of queer fish.
ReplyDeleteI don't think people realise how dangerous he is.
DeleteThe difference between a communist and a fascist is that one says potatoes and the other one says spuds.
