Ever since she first tasted this, she's been hooked.
If she could have it on her morning cornflakes, she would. If she could fill the pool with it, I think she'd do so. If she could have it as a flavoured toothpaste, there's no question that she would brush her teeth 20 times a day.
It's a little too sweet for me, but even so it's very pleasant. Your Hot Dogs would never be the same again.
Oh, I didn't say, did I...... it's mustard with honey.
I do my own as a marinade on BBQ chicken.
ReplyDeleteI shall try it. Not much to dislike!
DeleteI can understand lady M,I also like it and can have it on everything.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a Mustard Sisterhood!
DeleteIt is really nice, can understand her obsession. I often use a balsamic vinegar with honey and mustard in it. Wonderful on salads
ReplyDeleteIt is remarkably addictive. I'm amazed she didn't discover it years ago.
DeleteIt sounds like a contradiction to me from the mustard fields of East Anglia.
ReplyDeleteI presume French Mustard is grown around Dijon; very similar to Norfolk.
DeleteSounds a bit too sweet for my taste.
ReplyDeleteIt would be more to my taste with about half the amount of Honey.
DeleteEven Bok seems addicted to it; look at that look. So sweet!
ReplyDeleteGreetings Maria x
He's saying "look, boss, my eyes are the same colour as the mustard".
DeleteToo sweet for me but I should think it makes an excellent marinade.
ReplyDeleteI shall try brushing it on BBQ'd pork or chicken. It certainly wouldn't make it worse!
DeleteThat sounds really nice !
ReplyDeleteAs long as you have a sweet tooth; unfortunately I don't.
DeleteIt would probably make a good Dijonaise sauce.
ReplyDeleteI fear it might be a bit too sweet.
DeleteHoney mustard is a favorite in our house also and can be used on/for many foods.
ReplyDeleteOnce tried, never forgotten.
DeleteI am with Lady M,especially with a good roast ham.
ReplyDeleteI wish we could buy English style Ham joints here. Sadly we can't.
DeleteWell why didn't I think of that? We have tons of our own honey, so I'm off for some good quality mustard today. I imagine it will be lovely on one of our pork shoulder roasts.
ReplyDeleteIt would be perfect. I can see a profitable business in the wings!
DeleteI love honey mustard especially on a good roast ham.
ReplyDeleteLovely. If only we could buy nice ham joints here. I dream about them!
DeleteI just added a couple of teaspoons to a pan full of carrots & brussel sprouts - YUM!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a great idea; I love Brussels Sprouts!
DeleteI like honey mustard, but only if it has an extra spicy kick! Yours sounds awfully sweet.
ReplyDeleteI haven't looked at the ingredients, but I should think it's 50/50; very sweet.
DeleteWell, well, well. I had no idea that you could buy it. I used to make my own for a marinade.
ReplyDeleteI shall look for this in the international section of grocery market. I have loved any kind of mustard since grade school. Yum!
