Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Thank you all so much for your very kind thoughts yesterday. Monty is now resting amid a triangle of 3 Peach trees at the South end of Haddock's (my veg garden). He was buried along with his favourite ball, several other dog-toys, a few flowers, and some biscuits for the journey. He looked so beautiful; as if curled-up asleep.

I couldn't bring myself to reply to all your comments yesterday; but I can assure you that they were very much appreciated.

Thank you all again. Cro and Lady Magnon x

  11. We didn't expect a reply Cro, I thought about you a lot yesterday. We have a little pet resting place under the lilac tree, pets leave such a gap when they leave us.

  13. I always bury my dogs with their favourite toys and also with a few biscuits and a flower or too - I think it eases the pain a little.

  17. Yes Cro, they do look wonderful when they are 'asleep'.
We left kitty in her basket for 24 hours to let her little spirit depart and she looked so peaceful.

  18. The amount of happiness our pets give us is equaled by the sadness we feel when we lose them.

I am so sad for you, Cro.
