What a beautiful woman. This red-headed, orange lipped, Irishwoman (not evident in photo) must surely have been one of nature's most outrageous creations.She also did a spot of movie-acting. How Green Was My Valley and Miracle on 34th Street being two of my own particular favourites. I salute you Miss O'Hara.

ReplyDeleteMaureen O'Hara was truly one of the great actresses. I do believe the Oscars and other awards ceremonies terribly overlooked her. I googled her and she is now 91 years old. What an outstanding beauty.. again overlooked in the rankings. in short, she is one of my top favorites.

She really was beautiful. Have you ever watched the movie Only the Lonely with John Candy and Maureen O'Hara as his overbearing mother? She does a great job.
