This man above (yes, it's a man), is Englishman Timothy Millar aged 76.
Some time ago he was arrested in Portsmouth for wearing a Burqa. He was accused of 'trying to conceal his identity'. When Miller recently attended court, he again wore his Burqa.
At his hearing he claimed to have converted to Islam, and said he wished to gain a greater understanding of his new religion. When asked if he had any defense, he said 'It's very simple, there should be one law for all'.
His trial will take place on February 16th 2027.
I imagine that he will be cleared of any 'crime'. If not, and he is found guilty, expect to see a lot more Burqa-wearing, or masked, people being arrested in 2027; both men and women.
The judge will have a real problem. If he finds Miller guilty, he will have set a precedent that will send panic signals throughout the Muslim population. If, however, he finds him innocent it will cause huge problems for the Police, whose widespread Facial Recognition Cameras will prove to be totally useless.
As Miller himself said, it's all about 'one law for all'.

Unfortunately, there is already a precedent for religious exemption - Sikhs are allowed to ride motorcycles without crash helmets if they have a turban. I can see that possibly being used to justify wearing of burqas and niqhabs.....
I can't understand why he was arrested. Surely it's not illegal to wear fancy dress
If it is then I can see the system being jam packed with burqa wearing folk.
I seem to remember some Sikhs wearing helmets that were made to look like turbans. All a bit silly really.
If it is actually illegal, why was it that just one anti illegal-immigrant protester was arrested? There are protesters everywhere wearing face coverings.
