Footballers are not known for their elegance. They are more likely to be seen driving their Ferraris wearing a pale grey tracksuit ensemble, rather than anything that has come from Savile Row.
But ex-Footballer David Beckham seems to have broken the mould.
His suit is well cut, the collars on his crisp white shirt are cut at the right angle, his protruding shirt cuffs are at the correct half-inch exposure, his tie is tied (I think) in the standard 'Four-in-Hand' knot, and his elegant shoes are well buffed. It would have been difficult for an ex-Footballer to have been better dressed.
The only thing that lets him down are his heavily tattooed hands.
Beckham's wife, Victoria, is a self taught 'Fashion Designer' with a successful label of her own. No doubt she gives advice to David, and it pays!
Well done Dave!

Take advice for you.
Eff off. What's wrong with you???
He does polish up well.
Yes, surprisingly so!
Don't worry Cro. I suspect English isn't it's first language. If it is then God help it.
I may have to return to 'No Anonymous Comments' again. Stupid comments are so boring.
He does look very smart and I agree shame about the "tats". Regards Sue H
Ah yes. I well remember his famous underwear modelling period ...
He can afforf to. haha.
I agree, a pity about the ink.
Your anon is indeed annoying. I don’t understand posting anonymously. Even though I don’t have my own blog, I always post under this name and never post anonymously.
His inkings would have been better 'hidden'.
He's done a bit of everything. Good for him.
I don't mind comments that take a different view to mine, it's when they become stupid that annoys me.
Even the ones who can afford to dress well, often don't. Money doesn't buy 'good taste'.
Most famous footballers retire in their thirties and then fade away but David Beckham has made the most of the opportunities that came his way and now he is fabulously rich with a fortune of over £750 million.
He looks very smart. He's certainly got the money to buy the best and taste too
When my son was young and we were invited over to his grandparents, he would complain, "Why do I have to dress up?" "Because it shows honor to your grandparents." He understood that though he didn't like it. My husband laments about the time "men wore hats". And women did too. Good manners make for a civil world. Showing honor. As for your Anons, some may be bots. With your conservative views, it wouldn't surprise me. Either that or they are simply cowardly. I can't see why you should give them space.
A sensible approach. I have said it before, I miss Weaver. she not only allowed differing view points, she positively encouraged those. It is good to try and understand why people thinking differently.
I agree. I miss Weaver too!
The boy done good!
He looks more elegant than most 'Celebs'.
I had a reasonably strict upbringing where bad manners, etc, weren't tolerated. It has served me well.
D. B a un style très classique . Tout est fait sur mesure. Je préfère largement Oscar Isaac et Harry Styles. Mon avis personnel. .Ce qui est important c'est de se sentir bien dans ses habits. Pour moi les hommes les plus chics sont en général les Italiens.
