I know several people and an Uncle who is 90 - They are full of life and have busy lives - Young people are usually kindly towards me - I am occasionally called Dear though by shop assistants which I am bemused by - flis x
Hilarious. I sat next to Hilda this morning at Crafty Club. She is 92 and bright as a button. Up to date with everything that is going on. And I didn't have to shout. In fact I am probably more deaf than she is.
That's a real gem!!
ReplyDeleteA perfect way to start a new week and another month. Thanks for a laugh.
Just occasionally I feel as if I'm being spoken to like that. Grrrrr!
DeleteHa! ha! Now they are all oldies too - those that are left!

ReplyDeleteWe know that, but try to convince a 21 year old!

ReplyDeleteThe only 'check-out girls' who call me 'dear' are OAP's, and they're all lovely.
DeleteThat's pretty funny. We are all moving in the same direction and there is no stopping that.
ReplyDeleteWhy can't people just be nice?
We need a magic potion.
