Luckily I was away at the time. The beach is bad enough on a sunny weekend, but this was crazy. I believe it was the only day on which there was no alcohol left in the whole town.
What a wonderful idea Crozier! But half the wall space would be for Yorkshire women like Judi Dench, Amy Johnson, The Bronte sisters, Betty Boothroyd, Jessica Ennis-Hill, Mel B, Nicola Adams, Helen Sharman and Barbara Taylor-Bradford.

DeleteWhen I visited The National Portrait Gallery, they had a portrait of Norman Cook but not Captain James Cook! Outrageous!
