I dislike wooden spoons . I have an IKEA spoon made from some sort of 'plastic' that's not plastic or it would have melted by now. Cooking is just not the same without it.<br />Twice I've emptied the 'non cutlery' drawer and placed half its contents in a bag and hidden the bag. I aren't throw the darn stuff out just in case someone suddenly has a whim for a bone handled spatula yellow with age and a wobbly handle or one of the dozens of similar 'gadgets'.
