Congratulations too on your 400th post.Mollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08604864977387798470noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5227064496185547313.post-9168900384923602702010-12-17T19:22:46.806+00:002010-12-17T19:22:46.806+00:00Hi Cro, I have not commented on the painting blogs...Hi Cro, I have not commented on the painting blogs as such,first of all 400!! crickey thats great in iteslef,now to the paintings, I have absolutely no idea about art works isn't that sad,we have some lovely painters/artists in our genes.Bobs Grandmother was fascinated by moths and butterflies and flowers and there are paintings of flowers on my sister in laws walls that people constantly tell her she has a moth problem,so I am used to the almost photo look works around us, we have a painting of Stuarts Peas in our room that she did,she had a lovely softness in her works,so therefore I feel so uneducated when I see others comments as the seem to "get your work", my fathers family are all sketchers working in charcoal and pencil,I remember all the cousins sitting around doing this,sadly I do not have any as the family broke up,we left to live in the country and never saw any of these cousins again,divorce its a buggar!back to the paintings I did find the first ones making me look and look and I have to say I like them.I am now going to sit and look at post 400 to see what I can "feel".I am wondering, if I understand the work does it just come to me or will I forever be wondering "whats it all about"I am really serious Cro,I would like to be able to appreciate all I see.I think anyone who can express themselves in any art form is very clever.
