They are the consistency of jello. BTW, neurosurgeons go through the longest residency of all specialties and I didn't say this, but nearly all think they are gods. The brain is truly amazing and the frontal lobe, which not as much is known about, is the latest frontier in brain studies. Or, is it the the pre-frontal cortex? I digress. He's a wonderful man, a great surgeon who has very kindly stopped in occasionally in the three years since the operation to ask how we're doing ( and to buy books). He said that book sounded very interesting to him!

I greatly admire people who can handle the responsibility of having others' lives in their hands like that. Even if I had the brains to be a surgeon (I don't), I'd become an emotional wreck under the weight of the responsibility. And neurosurgery would be the worst of all, I think!

Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12512800812290518552noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5227064496185547313.post-82752968117811133612014-11-04T16:00:29.394+00:002014-11-04T16:00:29.394+00:00If Hippocrates doesn't get 'em the law wil...If Hippocrates doesn't get 'em the law will.Rachel Phillipshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16053924416805878169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5227064496185547313.post-75309201527927150272014-11-04T15:45:25.627+00:002014-11-04T15:45:25.627+00:00Sounds like something the wife would read, she lov...Sounds like something the wife would read, she loves all that hospital blood and guts stuff.Dochttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05230334534323236665noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5227064496185547313.post-56355625340652511472014-11-04T15:06:38.561+00:002014-11-04T15:06:38.561+00:00No, I think not Cro, thanks all the same. No, I think not Cro, thanks all the same. The Weaver of Grasshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13947971556343746883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5227064496185547313.post-83903877290456224982014-11-04T14:18:03.309+00:002014-11-04T14:18:03.309+00:00Actually sounds fascinating to me.
