Anyone here in Australia that has an animal to be butchered takes it to the local butcher and picks up the packs of meat the next day or the day after.Riverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14794655013673748992noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5227064496185547313.post-46736258194768212412023-02-20T05:27:39.080+00:002023-02-20T05:27:39.080+00:00Two cows as well; that must have been quite a day....Two cows as well; that must have been quite a day. All the children stayed home from school. Two cows and a pig. Ham and bacon and summer sausage smoked. Most of it canned. Some went to the icehouse. It was quite a production. The two dogs could barely greet us. They had a very large pile of bones they were working through.Debbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09531125606268748793noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5227064496185547313.post-17836588275043478782023-02-20T00:17:36.084+00:002023-02-20T00:17:36.084+00:00My mother grew up on a farm, her parents would hos...My mother grew up on a farm, her parents would host the pig dayTravelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07787024407420088973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5227064496185547313.post-82743034785735641982023-02-19T23:11:01.468+00:002023-02-19T23:11:01.468+00:00No point.
