She sold it to an Italian wide-boy, who stripped it of all its fabulous interior Oak panelling (which he sold to Japan), and installed some bathrooms that were in appalling taste. Luckily there is now a new owner who is doing his best to put things back to how it was originally. Of course he'll never get the panelling back.
