This A-ha song from 1985 is an all-round perfectly crafted, and produced, piece of music. The accompanying video was also 'groundbreaking'. I believe it's one of the most viewed videos of all time.
Norwegian band A-ha were fronted by 'heartthrob' singer Morten Harket. Both the song and the video are as good today as they were 40 years ago. I'm sure you'll enjoy both.
65 year old Harket has recently been diagnosed with Parkinson's. I send him my very best wishes.
I remember the song from the radio but I'd never seen the video and have to admit never quite knew the lyrics. So I'm very pleased you posted this. I think I'll watch it a few more times. Thank you for posting this, I look forward to your daily posts.
ReplyDeleteThe lyrics are a bit strange, but English wasn't their first language. I think it adds to the charm.
DeleteThank you. I enjoyed that.
ReplyDeleteGood. The perfect start to a Monday morning.
DeleteGreat song, thanks Cro. What a shame about him having Parkinson's though, very sad.
ReplyDeleteYes, no-one is immune.
