This must be the most serious, saddest, and upsetting, aspect of today's UK.
Members of several UK Jewish communities are now afraid to walk the streets. Crazed Muslim attacks, on both people and buildings, have become so regular that one can understand their fear.
With all the dreadful antisemitism about, I think it would be timely to show the FULL FILM of the October 7th massacre on mainstream TV (with warnings). This might, hopefully, put an end to their puerile lies, and propaganda, once and for all.
I haven't seen it myself, and I don't wish to, but I've heard that the filmed images taken by the Hamas Terrorists themselves are so graphic that people cannot face watching it. The killing of babies, the raping and eviscerating of young women, and film of the 1,400 people being murdered, are beyond horrific, and it might make a few of the pro-Hamas Woke-folk realise what the people they support are actually like, and why the Israeli forces were obliged to retaliate.
Some of the most offensive online antisemitism has been been posted, or reposted, by Green Party election candidates. Above by Ifhat Shaheen (Smith). Three of their female candidates have been arrested. I do hope that people who vote Green on the 7th, know what they're voting for.
Their charming leader, Zack Polanski, is openly antisemitic (even though he himself is of Jewish origin), and is fawning towards the Muslim vote; as are Labour.
I have yet to hear of Jewish 'grooming gangs', of Jewish knife attacks, or Jewish drug gangs, or even of Jewish E-Bike phone snatchers. I fail to understand why people prefer to support the 'bad people' rather than support those who, pre-Oct 7th, supplied Gaza with just about everything they desperately needed; needs that were created by Hamas spending all the aid money and donations on arms (and their own pockets), and not on the citizens where it was needed.
It would be nice if certain communities could live peacefully with others, and not spread hatred all the time. Many of the Muslim demonstrators hold banners demanding 'FREE PALESTINE'. I think what they really should be saying is 'NO MORE HAMAS'. It is Hamas who are ruining the lives of the Gaza residents.
We now hear that the antisemitism in the UK is being sponsored, and encouraged by, a 'Foreign Power'. I think we all know who that is !!!
We live in an upside-down, inside-out, crazy world.
The Green Party has completely lost its once dubious eco credentials, and is now just a more extreme bunch of ultra-left nutcases that Two Tier Kier's bunch of destroyers of the UK economy and society.
ReplyDeleteI was never a Green Party supporter, but they did once hold idealistic eco-policies. I wonder what happened? It was probably the support of Greta Thunberg that drove them all crazy.
DeleteThank you Cro, this is an important and brave voice that you are making, not many do it here, as I wrote in another blog, blogland is a mirror image of the world, here too there are hidden and open anti-Semites and just ignorant and hypocritical people who echo the lies that the media gives them.
ReplyDeleteThey attacked me openly and covertly throughout these two years without really understanding what a terrible disaster has happened to us. Don't expect many comments on a post like this, here too people are afraid to say what they really think. A voice like yours is so important in this terrible world.
And one more thing, I won't be here today until tonight, so I'll say something now before the "what about" people arrive, that morning of October 7th they beheaded babies, they killed and burned small children in their beds, they took babies and old people captive and tortured or killed them there, their wives and mothers encouraged them on the phone and some of them came to the settlements and simply robbed toys and equipment from the homes of the people they killed. And that's not all.
ReplyDeleteThank you for that Yael. The strangest thing is why the pro-Hamas propaganda machine has been so successful. People do know the truth, but still prefer to back the terrorists over the Israelis. It is all frighteningly reminiscent of the 1930's in Germany. Something we never thought could possibly happen again.
DeleteDifficult to know how to vote in our County Council elections. We have a Green Party sitting candidate who is very local and has been working hard for his community for 30 years + .The other parties have candidates who are unknown and have never been seen or even heard from at all.
ReplyDeleteThe old Liberal Party always had a very good reputation in local politics, but they've now gone. I'm quite happy that we're not having elections here in Brighton; I really wouldn't know who to vote for. We are currently Labour/Green, but they're making an awful mess of things.
DeleteThank you for speaking out.
ReplyDeleteThere are about 300,000 Jewish people in the UK and about 4 million Muslims. My vote is for the bullied minority and I am angry at the lies and the hatred being stirred up.
Antisemitism has become the norm, and is being encouraged by certain political parties for electioneering purposes. As I wrote above; there are people who do good in the world, and others who seem to to do nothing but bad. Why do people support the latter?
DeleteHamas is a proxy of Iran, just as Hezbollah and Houthis. There is a reason why many leaders in the Western world won't support the freeing of the Iranian people. Iran is a proxy of those that profit greatly by the continued unrest in the Middle East. Follow the oil money. Your media, like ours, supports the propaganda that supports the power holders that keep the radicals in Iran in power who murdered over 40,000 of their own people) who keeps the radical Islam terrorizing your streets and overtaking your nation. Open borders that allow Islam to overrun Western Cultures is not by accident.
ReplyDeleteSadly all this is true, and the gullible are compliant in the assault on society. It has become abhorrent.
DeleteTo be honest, as I live my life and travel around I witness zero evidence of antisemitism. But of course, I am not Jewish. I applaud Sir Keir Starmer for hosting a serious day conference in which leaders and significant others debated antisemitism - seeking ways of addressing it and determining the route ahead. It is worth noting that his lovely wife Victoria is Jewish and so his two children are half-Jewish too. No wonder he takes recent troubling events very seriously indeed.
ReplyDeleteHis two children are Jewish. A Jew is someone whose MOTHER is Jewish. Starmer has to be very careful, if he says the wrong thing, or too much of the right thing, he will loose Muslim votes.
DeleteYou are right. It is a difficult balancing act. And maybe it's not merely about the Muslim vote, it is about keeping Muslims "on side" - not alienating them from British society as a whole. Thousands of Muslims are well-integrated - often playing key roles in our society and really feeling that they belong here.
DeleteWhich is how it should be, and not this horrible racism.
DeleteWell written Cro. All forms of racism should be called out.
ReplyDeleteQuite right. I hate it in all its guises. It is anti-human.
DeleteBeing that I live not too far from the Orthodox Jewish community in Golders Green and where that terrible incident took place recently, I can't help noticing when on the bus returning from Hendon or Mill Hill, how well Jewish School children behave with impeccable manners that normal children simply aren't taught anymore.
ReplyDeleteEven when leaving the bus they all thank the bus driver even though the driver cannot hear them, indicating how well brought up they are.
And as you said, where is the anti-social and criminal element with this peaceful community of people that go about their daily business without upsetting anyone, unlike certain other communities.
I've known several Jewish families, and they were all as you describe. Good manners, and hard work were instilled upon the children, and they were always very nice, successful, people. Those who hate them so much tend to be the opposite. What amazes me is that the latter group have such a fanatical following. I just don't understand it.
DeleteWe have the same problem in Australia. There is a public enquiry into anti semitism going on at the moment. I just don't understand it either. It is terrifying really that Hamas has such support. It is now illegal here to wear any Nazi symbols etc, I suppose that is a start.
ReplyDeleteAfter the horrors of WW2, I never imagined that we would now be imitating the Nazis. The Left-Wing parties have suddenly become extreme Right-Wing.
