Needless to say we didn't find any. A few years ago I did find a silvery " dog tag" on the surface of our garden ( after having lived here for 30 years) and it was engraved with the name and address of the family who used to run a general store on the site of the 4 houses that were built in early 60's. The shop had been there for many years, removed in the 50's I think, and I gave the disc to the local history society.Franceshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02576715462615744934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5227064496185547313.post-90631252610660980562015-01-30T08:59:02.250+00:002015-01-30T08:59:02.250+00:00I also have molehilles in my garden and feel the s...I also have molehilles in my garden and feel the same about finding any thing here regarding the area was ocuupied by so many nations( Romans, Turks, English).Yaelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15181961536405061470noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5227064496185547313.post-14845060396113685292015-01-30T08:48:30.490+00:002015-01-30T08:48:30.490+00:00You can glean some comfort from knowing that moleh...You can glean some comfort from knowing that molehill soil, mixed with a bit of leaf mould, makes excellent potting compost. The Weaver of Grasshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13947971556343746883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5227064496185547313.post-61621870653828362312015-01-30T08:16:31.090+00:002015-01-30T08:16:31.090+00:00Fieldwalking was quite a productive hobby where I ...Fieldwalking was quite a productive hobby where I grew up - ploughed fields would still be turning up flint arrowheads and old coins each autumn and once you got your eye in you could pick up a fair bit.

Yet to spot amber or ambergris on a beach though, that would be pretty much the ultimate for me.Abihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02173921314053990113noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5227064496185547313.post-68105406415329963272015-01-30T07:42:58.126+00:002015-01-30T07:42:58.126+00:00I've seen a fair few molehills in my life but ...I've seen a fair few molehills in my life but never seen anything interesting yet.Rachel Phillipshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16053924416805878169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5227064496185547313.post-52983330390481358022015-01-30T05:54:52.734+00:002015-01-30T05:54:52.734+00:00GOLD.GOLD.Cro Magnonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06840670227576695352noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5227064496185547313.post-43367792619557241922015-01-30T05:13:23.345+00:002015-01-30T05:13:23.345+00:00So that's a molehill, I've never seen one....So that's a molehill, I've never seen one.
